Fraser Holmes holds a career 65-56 record as head coach of the University of Dallas baseball team.

Navigating to a 23-17 record in the 2012 season, the Crusaders netted a 10-10 mark as first-year members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).

For their efforts in SCAC competition, Dallas claimed the West Division's No. 3 seed into the 2012 SCAC Championship Tournament held at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn.

The squad fell just short of besting both No. 1 seeds in the double-elimination format. Dallas suffered a 6-4 defeat to Birmingham-Southern College (Ala.) before a 10-9 eleven-inning comeback effort by Trinity University eliminated the Crusaders.

Coach Holmes was named 2011 'Coach of the Year' by the Association of Divison III Independents (AD3I) in helping Dallas improve to 26-14 on the 2011 season from 16-25 a year prior.

He played a year of independent professional baseball with both the American Association's Grand Prairie AirHogs and Sioux Falls (S.D.) Canaries, and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2009 Dallas baseball team.

Coach Holmes was the starting catcher for the University of Dallas in three seasons (2006-2008), before graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

A three-time letterwinner, Coach Holmes was named to the 2008 AD3I 'First Team.' Garnering 'First Team' honors in 2006 and 2007 from the United States Collegiate Athletic Assocation (USCAA), he was also a 2007 USCAA 'Academic' All-American.

The fifteenth baseball head coach in 50 years to grace the University of Dallas, Coach Holmes resides in Irving, Texas, with wife Sydney and daughter Eve.
