UD Sports Information Director Resigns

With over five years of work experience at the University of Dallas, Ryan Frey has stepped down from his current position as Sports Information Director effective September 24. Upon taking the job in August of 2005, Frey spent two seasons as the cross country coach, one as the track coach, as well as serving as the Sports Information Director throughout his tenure. In the winter of 2007, Frey concentrated his efforts as the school’s SID to enhance coverage of the University’s athletics. The primary contact for all 13 UD sports was also a member of the Tower Editorial Board and contributing writer for the Tower (the school's alumni magazine) and Parent's E-Newsletter.

The Wisconsin native and Beloit College graduate spent time as Assistant SID at Madison Area Technical College, a sportswriter for the Beloit Daily News, and as an Assistant Archivist at Beloit College before joining the UD athletic department.
