About the University of Dallas Scholar-Athlete-of-the-Year Award:
The University of Dallas Scholar-Athlete-of-the-Year Award was first implemented in 1984 and given to Greg Roper -- a current Dallas Associate Professor of English. Since the award's inception, there have been 13 different winners. The award is handed annually to the letter-winning varsity student-athlete with the highest GPA; freshmen are not eligible.
