Former UD Athlete Recognized

This week the University of Dallas congratulates former student and coach Laura Mitchell on being named 2010 Sports Ethics Fellow by the Institute for International Sports and the Positive Coaching Alliance (IIS). Mitchell graduated as an English major and went on to Pepperdine Law School. She played basketball at UD before taking a job with IIS. There she delivers keynote speeches around the country and helps young athletes utilize their athletic abilities to pursue scholarships and other available opportunities. Currently, Mitchell is also co-writing a book with Denver Broncos Super bowl MVP Terrell Davis and Denver Broncos Super Bowl Champion Byron Chamberlain. The University of Dallas offers warm congratulations to Laura Mitchell on her tremendous accomplishments!
