Fraser Holmes holds a career 65-56 record as head coach of the University of Dallas baseball team.
Navigating to a 23-17 record in the 2012 season, the Crusaders netted a 10-10 mark as first-year members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).
For their efforts in SCAC competition, Dallas claimed the West Division's No. 3 seed into the 2012 SCAC Championship Tournament held at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn.
The squad fell just short of besting both No. 1 seeds in the double-elimination format. Dallas suffered a 6-4 defeat to Birmingham-Southern College (Ala.) before a 10-9 eleven-inning comeback effort by Trinity University eliminated the Crusaders.
Coach Holmes was named 2011 'Coach of the Year' by the Association of Divison III Independents (AD3I) in helping Dallas improve to 26-14 on the 2011 season from 16-25 a year prior.
He played a year of independent professional baseball with both the American Association's Grand Prairie AirHogs and Sioux Falls (S.D.) Canaries, and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2009 Dallas baseball team.
Coach Holmes was the starting catcher for the University of Dallas in three seasons (2006-2008), before graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.
A three-time letterwinner, Coach Holmes was named to the 2008 AD3I 'First Team.' Garnering 'First Team' honors in 2006 and 2007 from the United States Collegiate Athletic Assocation (USCAA), he was also a 2007 USCAA 'Academic' All-American.
The fifteenth head coach in program history, Coach Holmes instructs private lessons in the offseason.
He resides in Irving, Texas, with wife Sydney and daughter Eve.

Joe Myers enters his third season with head coach Fraser Holmes at the University of Dallas, primarily focusing as pitching coach in his assistant's role.
Prior to his appointment to Dallas, he coached at Spring Arbor University (SAU) under Sam Riggleman as assistant pitching coach/assistant recruiting coordinator.
A native of Michigan, Coach Myers played collegiate baseball at Spring Arbor University (Mich.) from 2003-2008.
Appearing in five seasons with the Cougars, he split time between at first and third base, before becoming a starting pitcher in his junior year.
Sidelined by Tommy John Surgery, Coach Myers was moved to closer, and remained in this role for the rest of his tenure at SAU. During that season, he was named to the all-conference and all-region teams.
SAU made the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) World Series two years in a row. He was responsible for closing out three games in the 2008 World Series. SAU placed third and second in those two respective appearances, and netted the nation’s best winning-streak of 36 games in 2007.
Coach Myers graduated from SAU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing/Management, and currently resides in Irving, Texas, with wife Christie.
