TEMPLE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team completed the first round on Monday in the UMHB Crusader Intercollegiate at Wildflower Country Club. The Crusaders are tied 7th out of 11 teams after 18 holes completed with a 321.
Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) led the team in his first tournament of the fall season with a 77. The senior is tied 15th individually. Emilio Montalvo (Mexico City, Mexico) was one stroke behind Schuberg with a 78 and tied 15th. Erik Hamm (Brentwood, Tenn.) contributed an 81.
Concordia University leads the team scores with a 303. Schreiner University followed with a 306 for second, and LeTourneau University posted a 308.
Travis Skorheim – competing individually for Concordia – carded the lowest score of the round with a 70.
