May 05, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas athletics department celebrated its sixth annual end of the year banquet on Sunday, May 5, at the Hagger University Center. Each coach from the 15 NCAA affiliated programs took a moment to speak on behalf of their program, as well as recognize those that received postseason achievements highlighted by each team’s Most Valuable Player (Listed at bottom). -

Crusaders fall in SCAC Men's Lacrosse Opening Round on Friday
April 26, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team dropped its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) semifinal match on Friday to Southwestern University, 23-2. The Pirates (10-6) raced out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter, netting 11 goals, and eventually built a 14-0 halftime lead. -
2019 SCAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament to be Hosted by Dallas (4/26, 4/28)
April 25, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas is the host site of the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) men’s lacrosse tournament. On April 26, a semifinal match featuring the No. 2-seed Southwestern University and No. 3-seed Dallas will take place at 2 p.m. The winner will advance to face top-seeded Colorado College on Apr. 28 at 12 p.m. -

Southwestern Edges Men's Lacrosse on Saturday
April 13, 2019GEORGETOWN, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team was defeated 25-6 at Southwestern University on Saturday afternoon. Dallas (3-8) gained two goals in the first three quarters, but the Pirates (9-6) were too strong offensively with 17 first half scores. This included 11 in the second quarter. -

Crusaders enjoy Senior Day with Strong Performances
April 07, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team celebrated “Senior Day” with a 24-3 victory over Hardin-Simmons University. The Crusaders picked up their third win at home against a MCLA opponent, as five players notched a hat trick. Austin Gibbons (St. Charles, Ill.) led the offense with 11 points. Seven of those came as assists, which broke the program’s single-game record of six last held by Stephen Joseph against Centenary College (4/11/12). -

April 05, 2019LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Each April, the NCAA recognizes individuals associated with Division III through its annual Division III Week celebration. During this week, Division III schools and conference offices are encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: acedmic accomplishment, athletic expereince or leadership/community service/campus involvement. This year Division III week will be held from April 1st through April 7th. -
Crusaders fall at Columbia College on Saturday
March 30, 2019COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team was edged 16-1 on a snowy day in the Midwest at Columbia College on Saturday. The Cougars (5-1) surged out to a 10-0 lead in the first 15 minutes, and never looked back as they scored 16 times en route to their fifth straight victory. -

March 19, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team was defeated by North Central College (IL) on Wednesday to wrap up a five-game home stand, which the Crusaders dropped their last four on. Dallas held a Cardinals team that has accumulated their highest goal-count in the first quarter (25-of-64) to four and were only down 3-1 until the last 14 seconds of the opening stanza. -

February 23, 2019IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team rolled by Centenary College in a 19-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. Jake Frederick (Coppell, Texas) tallied a career-high seven points thanks to matching a personal game-best four assists that was part of a potent offense on the day. Tucker Jameson (Mechanicsville, Md.) and Tyler Smith (Snoqualmie, Wash.) each led the goal-scoring with four apiece. -
