A total of 49 student-athletes were selected to the 2015-16 squad in the sports of baseball, men's golf, women's golf, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's track & field and women's track & field.

    IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Athletics Department celebrated the third annual athletic banquet on Sunday at the Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 14 NCAA affiliated programs took a few minutes to reflect on the teams’ year. The Most Valuable Players (MVPs) were announced, which are voted by the athletes on each team once a season ends. Other notable honors were handed out and/or announced.

    DELHI, N.Y. – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team concluded the 2016 campaign with stellar performances at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Championship. The team notched 69.5 points to claim fourth place within the USCAA Division II programs.

    SEGUIN, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team completed the final day of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship hosted by Texas Lutheran University. Freshman Prince Giadolor (Rockwall, Texas) continued his stellar championship debut by securing the first individual SCAC Championship in school history. His 100 Meter time bested the next finisher by .12 ticks on the stopwatch.

    BALDWIN, Kan. – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed in the Baker Relays on Saturday. Two new school records were set in a pair of hand-off relays for the Crusaders. Dallas would finish eighth place as a team with 29 points.

Host school McMurry University claimed first as a team, with 118 points. University of Texas at Tyler and Western Texas College are currently listed second and third.     SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed in the Trinity Open this past weekend. It was one of the larger competitions, as all but one NCAA Division III (UT-Tyler) program from Texas competed. Senior Ryan McAnany (Kanas City, Kan.) headlined the big field for UD, notching two top 10 finishes on individual events with personal records (PRs).

Both the men’s and women’s teams will be competing in Tyler, Texas. This is head coach Matthew Barber’s second year at the helm for the UD track program.
